I can hardly believe it’s already the middle of March! Where does the time go??? With temperatures rising in Sothern California (it’s supposed to be in the 90s this weekend) it only means one thing – summer will be here before we know it.
Continuing on our countdown to summer we’re focusing part two of our three-part swimwear story on what to wear to the pool.
In part one we focused on resort swimwear – where prints always make a splash. When spending the day relaxing by a pool in the city or at a pool party I like to keep things a little more subdued. Solid trunks are always a nice choice. When heading somewhere like Sin City for the weekend you can pair them with a graphic tee, or you can keep a clean look with a simple white tee.
I love these Vilebrequin swim trunks! They’re slightly more fitted which is flattering for my body type. I paired them with a standard V-neck t-shirt from Uniqlo and sandals by Giuseppe Zanotti.
Just because you plan on being poolside doesn’t mean you should skip out on accessories. Having good sunglasses is almost more crucial than having a good pair of trunks. I’m a huge fan of mirrored lenses, especially in the summer! I completed my look for the pool with Ray-Ban aviators, a Miansai bracelet, and Vilebrequin beach bag. Ready to catch some rays!
